Executive Vice President & CCO
Chris Kelley began his career in the commercial finance industry more than 30 years ago. After nearly a decade at US Bank (FKA Star Bank/Firstar Bank), wherein Chris was tasked with initiating and managing the centralized Business Banking Credit group, he joined Information Leasing Corporation as Chief Credit Officer in 1998. After joining ILC, he was responsible for launching the company’s automated credit scoring model and Risk Acceptance Criteria (RAC) to streamline credit decisions and improve response times within the Vendor channel. That move enabled a period of extraordinary growth for the company, which is now the nation’s fourth-largest bank-owned equipment finance business. When ILC became Provident Financial Group and later National City Commercial Capital, Chris served as the Chief Credit Officer, responsible for credit policy, procedures, strategy and overall risk management for the firm. After merging with PNC in 2009, he became a Credit Executive for PNC Equipment Finance, managing the lending and portfolio activities for the Vendor Finance and Aviation Finance business units. He is a graduate of Missouri State University with a B.S. in operations management, and completed additional post graduate management studies at the University of Michigan.
